I would really appreciate it if you would put down that phone or burger or mirror or whatever and pay attention to your driving.
This is not a joke. This is not a game.
Do I feel bad for you if you get into an accident because you were too busy typing a text? I don't know. It will honestly depend on the severity of the accident. Sure, I will feel a bit bad for you if you actually died, partially because I don't know if people deserve death for something that stupid. That would be totally embarrassing. I would consider that to be a failure.
More importantly, you wouldn't be able to LEARN A LESSON from this. Is a text message worth risking your life? This is absolutely stupid.

I would like to come home safely, thank you. There have been far too many times when I have almost been clipped or T-boned or rear ended or whatever else. People, you need to be responsible because it's not just your life you're putting in danger.
While I'm talking about this, let me talk about people who drive too fast. Driving fast DOES NOT mean that you are a good driver. It just means you're really impatient, chronically late, or are simply a bad driver. My head should not be jostled back and forth every time you decide to start accelerating or braking. You should NOT be perpetually tailgating someone, getting in front of every single car you can, insisting that you hate it when people drive in front of you because then it makes you feel slow.
Furthermore, you should not have your music on so f*cking loudly that I can't hear myself talk at a normal speaking voice. Your hands should be ON the wheel and not in the air jamming out to whatever the hell it is you're playing. Your eyes SHOULD NOT be closed while you're singing whatever nonsense is polluting the air (and my brain). You should NOT have to have your passenger scream your name to get you to slam the brakes because you're about to rear end someone.
(YET you will not let me borrow your car because you think I will crash it?!)
Yes. Totally happened to me. I am never being a passenger with that driver again, if I can help it. I hadn't felt that scared for my life (while in someone else's car) in a while.
The last time that happened was when my probably legally blind driver drove at 80 in a 45 and then ran a blinking red after getting impatient. What was the result. I got a car ... slamming into my elbow. Pleasant. That was one of the times I was actually thankful for being super stick skinny. I would have actually fit into the passenger seat, I would have probably broken a couple of bones because my car door got completely crumpled inward.
When you get behind the steering wheel, your passengers should not feel like it's another game of Mario Kart.
Questions, comments, or suggestions are welcomed (as long as they are respectful)!
Also ... I'm thinking of regularly updating instead of really sporadically... Once a week? Twice a week? IDK.
