Breast Cancer Awareness? Please.

I'm sure everyone has seen that whole thing on Facebook where everyone who's a woman had changed their status to something provocative, like "I like it on the table" or "I like it in the closet" or something stupid like that.

And I'm sure that after asking around or talking to girls, people have realized that this whole thing is supposedly supposed to raise breast cancer awareness, since October is breast cancer awareness month.  Apparently women are supposed to post a status about (get this) the location of their purses.  This is connected to breast cancer awareness how?
The only thing that this does is that it makes people aware of where you put your purse, maybe.  It's just really stupid.  I care so much about breast cancer awareness that I'm going to post a status that pretends to be about where I like sex (because everyone wants to hear that) that's actually about purse location but still pretending to be about breast cancer.

If you want to go do something serious that actually helps improve awareness, go volunteer or make a presentation or do something real and meaningful like that.  Not post some stupid dumbass status that sounds really raunchy and interesting.

At least last year it was more related--girls were supposed to post their current bra color.  At least bras are actually directly RELATED to breasts.  Purses?  Sure, women have breasts ... and because we're women we also have purses?  Blegh.  Lame.
